Where is the nearest Airport?

The nearest Airport is Almeria, around 20 minutes drive from the villa. Numerous airlines such as Ryanair, Jet2 and TUI fly into here.

Alternatively Granada Airport is 1.5 hours away and Murcia Airport is just under 2 hours

How do we get the to Villa?

Given that the Villa is based in the countryside we recommend hiring a car from the airport. 

Once you have booked we can give full instructions on how to find the Villa.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

At the time of booking we will require a £100 none refundable deposit. Dates can be changed up to 1 month before you are due to arrive.

When do I pay the balance?

The balance of your holiday will be due 3 weeks before your arrival.

Is the Villa private?

The Villa will be just yours from check in to check out. The only person you may see is our pool maintenance man for 5 minutes so that he can check on the pools chemicals and top up the water if it needs it.

Are towels provided?

Bath towels and linen will be provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Do I need to speak Spanish

Speaking Spanish is not essential, particularly in Almeria city. However, if you plan to eat at a local restaurant (other than Route 66), we recommend downloading the google translate app that will translate the menu for you, simply by taking a photo of it.

Is there a BBQ?

Yes- the local BP garage in Tabernas sells coals for you to buy.

Is there a cleaner?

The villa is self catering so no cleaning is provided during your stay.

Where do we collect the keys and when is check in and out?

Key collection is at the Villa, full instructions will be provided before you arrive.

Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am. We can sometimes be flexible with this depending upon other bookings around your booking.

How do we work the appliances?

A welcome pack detailing how everything works including the air-conditioning will be waiting for you on arrival.

Do we have a point of contact?

Should there be any issues with the villa our maintenance man will be on hand to sort it as soon as possible. For general queries we will be at the end of the phone.
